As the 2023 cricket season approaches we have a number of opportunities for members of the Langley community to get involved and help with the success of the team and the ongoing development of the club.

While costs continue to increase for everybody, as a club we are committed to minimizing the impact of the economic environment on our playing members, especially the younger members coming through the junior section. As such we are providing new fundraising options to those who want to make a meaningful impact on Langley Cricket Club. These opportunities demonstrate your support of your local club and provide you with a keepsake for your generosity.

Community Sponsor

The community sponsor is an opportunity to make a donation to the club and for the club to recognize your kindness. Benefits are:

• Have your name printed in the Community Sponsor section of our handbook*
• Receive a copy of the handbook
• An invitation to the Community Sponsors Day which will be a 1st Team home game in June or July (TBC), along with a light tea of sandwiches, cakes and tea or coffee, hosted by our Chairman, Matt Stevens

The minimum donation for the community sponsor is £20, although any higher sum would be gratefully accepted.

Match Ball Sponsor

As a match ball sponsor your kind donation can be publicized further, and this also offers an entry level for business sponsorship of the club, with marketing opportunities available.

• Have your name printed in the handbook* next to the match you have sponsored
• Receive a copy of the handbook
• Have the opportunity to be mentioned in the match report in the Macclesfield Express
• For home game sponsorship if you attend you will be welcomed by the relevant team Captain, with whom you will have a photo opportuntity, and you can enjoy the match with a complimentary tea or coffee and a slice of cake
• The option to retain the match ball as a keepsake (additional cost – home games only)
• Home match ball sponsorship £25 (+£20 if you wish to retain the ball)
• Away match ball sponsorship £20

There are a limited number of match ball sponsorships available, with half being home games and half being away.

For businesses there are also a number of other sponsorship opportunities available for increased visibility.
